Happy Birthday Chris!

Today we celebrate The Hero of our House!

Happy 35th Birthday Chris!

There are not enough platforms or pictures to celebrate the legacy your life is already writing.

You didn't have to, but you chose to be a dad. Not just a dad by default, but a father who loves hard, loves well, and loves consistently. You continuously deposit the love of Christ as well as your own strengths, wisdom and passions into your son. Your incredible leadership ability is demonstrated best in our home by the way you love and lead us. We are safe and secure in your persistent love for God and your daily choice to love us. (We love you too!)

And when the story gets complicated, your greatest strengths shine. Love is always your motive. Lifa will have a lifetime to look back and see that. I get to see it every single day.

You continuously model to us how to celebrate creation. It's been so fun to see your own creativity flourish in the past year. The more you allow God to do the hard work to develop your character, the more treasures we find inside of you. You are our every day gift.

Even the angels in our home look like you. That moustache...

You made us a family. The most blessed family there ever was.

We watch you look trials in the eye and turn them into triumphs.

Your words have made miracles the language and reality of our life.

Every day I've known you, you've become better - striving always to walk in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

I thank God for you every single day, but today I get to be mushy, public and loud about it. You are truly a hero worth celebrating. I love you always and forever. <------------------------>

Dear world, every single word of this is real. Whether you have experienced it in real-life relationship with the birthday boy or not, will you please send some Internet love and leave a happy birthday comment? Let's embarrass this embarrassingly handsome man with blessings today!
