How to get life right.

For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos.

“I am the LORD,” he says, “and there is no other.  I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the LORD, speak only what is true and declare only what is right.

Isa 45:18-19 NLT

Today, I broadcasted a teaching for Help Club for Moms all over the world. I wanted to speak specifically to those of us who feel like it’s hard to “get it right”,  there’s always something slipping away from us,  there’s never enough of us to get it all done. I wanted to speak truth and some practical real life into dismantling, chaotic thoughts. You don’t have to be a mama to relate to that!

I told them “the Lord is God, and he created heavens and earth and put everything in place.” It starts in page 1 of your Bible. God put things in order. He removed chaos one breath at a time, and He had a place for everything. Even before God breathed life into you, He had a plan and a place for everything.

I love the second part of the passage above. He basically says, “LOOK! I’m God! And I’m not tricky! I’m not hiding from you. I’m findable!” God comes in and brings order. We make room for God when we order our lives for it.

I taught moms today what the ordained order is for our live: God first. Always, always, always. Without Jesus, there’s nothing. Then marriage, then children, then home, and everything else after that. When we put the right things in the right place, like making sure our marriages are healthy so we can raise healthy kids who can have healthy marriages one day, life just works better.

If you’re feel like you’re behind the curve every single night when you fall into bed, you might have some re-ordering to do. If this is hitting it’s mark with you as much as it did with me, check out this video for some practical tips on what to do when you feel overwhelmed or out of order. Love you all!
