The Friday Call to Worship

🙌 It’s the Friday Call to Worship 🙌

The only world my 22-month old knows is one where his whole family is at home most of the time. He’s had a small, safe, and secure life. His world is absolutely unraveling as his big brother starts high school.

We have all stood at the edge of the cliff of debilitating fear, frustration or breakdown - or are there now. Whether it’s overworked, overwhelmed, exhaustion, sickness, depression, anxiety, eating disorder, addiction, negative thoughts, bitterness, financial strain, or something else… LOOK UP, AND LOOK OUT. 👀 🔭

👈 ☝️ Even if you feel like you can’t. Look up, and look out. ☝️ 👉

🌤️ Today's call to worship is to look up to the heavens, and tell God who He is. Use Psalm 33 if you need help. Then pray for someone else. That's what Jesus did. He taught us to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and love our neighbours as ourselves. (Mark 12:29-31). Loving God and others may not change the hardships you face, it ushers in the peace-making presence of the One who says, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest…” Matt 11:28-30 👐

🙏 Thank you, Jesus. You are good, and Your love endures forever.* ❤️
