The Friday Call to Worship: God is Not Tricky

That breath you just took is a reminder that your life has purpose and great value. Those lungs you just filled were fashioned by the tender delight and radiant zeal of Your Father's hands.

The world around us can feel very complicated, but the God who created it is not. He is not tricky, sneaky or hard to find! His greatest agenda is bringing you in closer to Him so that the next breath you take will be peace-filled, joy-infused and a reminder that you're not on your own here.

God is easy to find. He is not sly or tricky. He is good, and He loves you more than you can possibly imagine. Let the complicated things fall away for a moment, and read Psalm 19. When things start to feel overwhelming, take a deep breath and thank God for it. Even that is worship, and He loves it.
