πŸ™ŒIt's the Friday Call to Worship!πŸ™Œ

Cape Town is a bucket list city, flaunting breathtaking mountains, beaches, and even a few famous roads. One roadway you can't miss is an unfinished bridge that rises above the heart of the city and abruptly stops mid-air. Construction began in the 1970's, and there are no plans to finish it.

Chapman's Peak is a world-famous drive. It took seven years to carve the breathtaking route into a vertical cliff of Cape granite. Drivers and cyclists wind through 114 curves of a 9km stretch with a mountain wall on one side and ocean on the other.

The most wonderful road, however, stretches from this very moment into eternity. Isaiah prophesied, "There will be a highway of holiness called the Sacred Way... the redeemed will find a pathway on it... Ecstatic joy will overwhelm them; weariness and grief will disappear!" (Isa 35:8-10 TPT)

The toll has been paid. The bridge we could not complete between our sin and our place in heaven stretched fully-God, fully-man arms wide on the cross and said, "It is finished." (John 19:30)

The path was made possible by Jesus. The highway starts in our own hearts and does not waver with our circumstances or mistakes. The entrance ramp is our worship.

Tune your heart toward your Savior today, and walk worshipfully on the way He made for you. Listen to Jesus Culture's "Let the People Sing".
