The Two Oceans Aquarium has re-opened! Benjamin and I are annual pass holders, and I was thrilled to go back this morning. It was so good for my soul on a dark, rainy day to walk into a world of wonder.

There were larger than life sea creatures that only the King of Glory could have imagined and spoken into existence. I would love to write a story today about how I went to the aquarium to instill wonder in my child and teach him new things. I didn’t. He’s teething. It was raining. We were scheduled to have no electricity for the morning. We were all going to lose our minds if we stayed home. I went for an escape into wonder, to remember there’s so much more to life than what I see from day to day. There’s a God, one God, Who is not confined to lungs or land, time or space. And He’s my God!

We live in a busy world full of opinions, challenges, and trials. But there is wonder here too. Take an hour this week, and go find some wonder. Dwell in the wonder and the One who made it. I bet it will change your day.
