🙌 It's the Friday Call to Worship! 🙌
I love a quiet mornings with my Bible. This week, I read the story of Noah's Ark. Genesis gives an incredible account of when the world was covered with water, when God tried to wash away evil. He painted a rainbow promise in the sky afterwards to testify He would never destroy the world again.
Instead, He conquered evil once and for all by sacrificing His own Son. He made a way for His Spirit to fill us so we could cover the earth with His glory, causing darkness to flee.
This week's Call to Worship is a call to wonder... The world will never be covered in water again. But what if the world was covered in worship?
Kari Jobe's "Cover the World" lyrics say it all...
"Let the Spirit rise up,
Let it break through the walls
And beat down the doors,
And crash through the windows,
And cover the earth, the earth, the earth, the earth...
Bricks won't hold it in,
Lies won't hold it down,
Love will let it out,
And we will let it drown the darkness, the fears and brokenness
Can you feel it now?
Let it cover you.
Fear has no choice but to bow,
Chains have no choice but to break,
Shame has no choice but to leave in Your presence."
Listen, sing along, and let's cover the earth with His glory!
