πŸ™ŒIt's the Friday Call to Worship!πŸ™Œ

Yesterday, I was part of a "hike" with a pair of five-year old best friends. They had a map, binoculars, super hero figurines, and the electrifying energy of friendship in the wild. Their hearts were set for adventure. They would seek it until they found it. In fact, everything was an adventure because they were looking for one. The same paths they've walked since they could walk played out like a symphony in their spirits - the songs of the Cape frogs, the moss-covered climbing rocks, the slippery bridge and twisty trees, and the cold waterfall foaming into the perfect rock-throwing target. It was a breathtaking experience.

On this very regular Friday, where I have more things to do than I have time or patience for, I'm taking notes from the hikers. I will shake off that feeling of chaos and disorder the enemy tries to plant through language and busyness. I will reject the slump of monotony. Like five-year olds in the wild, I will find what I look for.

Our enemy wants us to get lost in the lives we live, because that is the exact place we find God. Let's set our hearts on worship, and we will find Him. He promises He is findable!

"For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. "I am the LORD," he says, "and there is no other. [19] I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner. I would not have told the people of Israel to seek me if I could not be found. I, the LORD, speak only what is true and declare only what is right." - Isaiah 45:18-19 NLT
