๐Ÿ™ŒIt's the Friday Call to Worship!๐Ÿ™Œ

In 2010, I found myself on a bumpy, creepy-crawly 18-hour bus ride from Lusaka, Zambia to a remote village on Lake Tanganyika. I saw the brightness of the stars in the complete absence of electricity for a month. I learned to "grocery shop" at the market, and how to turn two skinny, living chickens into dinner for 20.

One day, an old uncle in a bright red sunhat took us on the lake in his small boat. We banked near the invisible border of Zambia and Tanzania to hike Kalambo Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in Africa. I was baffled when we found a village halfway up the vertical hike - a whole community of people who need water, food, and supplies like the rest of us!

My mind stayed with that village when I got back on the boat. What happened if they got sick? Did they learn to read? Are they accounted for as a "people group" in the Joshua Project? How many other "hidden" people are there in the world? I scooted up close to the uncle in the red hat and asked with my whole, overwhelmed heart, "How do they hear about Jesus?" His simple answer, "From you."

Then how can I keep quiet?

How many people are left in the world who have never even heard the name of Jesus? How many have only had it used against them?

How do they hear the name of Jesus and know freedom, salvation and healing? From you. Tell it to your soul, and then go tell it on the mountain. Your mountain might be your office, the school pickup line, or your sister. Just go tell.
