πŸ™ŒIt's the Friday Call to Worship!πŸ™Œ

This week I dipped into the archives for a 2021 Call to Worship that feels relevant right now.

Does anyone else find themselves trying to just survive the week to get to the weekend? Or get through one season of life to get to the next? There will always be something on your path to "survive" if that is what you're looking to do. Alternatively, there are rich blessings to find on that very same road.

I turn to Psalm 84:5-7 when I find myself slipping into a "get through this" mindset. It's a song God's people sang on their treacherous journey to worship at the temple. They sang of setting their hearts on the journey toward God rather than the destination. They sang while they were road-weary and bearing heavy loads. You can write your life's song with the words you choose to sing to it's melody.

We no longer have to walk to find God's presence. He is with us wherever we go, whatever season we're in, and in whatever burdens we bear. The mundane task, unseen laboring, and the road you are walking today is the place where you will find Jesus if you are looking. His Word tells us we will find Him when we seek Him with all our hearts. (Jeremiah 29:13) When you don't know how to seek Him or what words to say, borrow someone else's. Listen to Ultimate Calls' Hallelujah Chant, and worship on your road today!
